GI Joe: The Waterfall of Cheese
Cats: Review|So my best friend dragged me out to go see GI Joe: The Rise of Cobra. At first I really didn’t want to go and see this movie. But after watching it I came to realize that it wasn’t that bad.
Gi Joe: The Rise of Cobra has got to be the cheesiest movie I’ve seen in a while. The BS-O-Meter runs close to the red line with this flick. However to be honest with you the movie does have it’s moments. Here’s a few things I liked.
I did like the guy playing Cobra Commander… up until the point he put on that stupid mask at the end. Why he didn’t just put on the blank Cobra Commander face I don’t know.
Probably the best thing about this movie. Is the whole conflict between Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow. Quite frankly that could of been a movie by itself and that movie would have kicked some serious ass. Actually this movie shoul be called. GI Joe: Snake Eyes WTFPWNS Storm Shadow! Would of been a better movie and title. Ray Parks is great in this role. We need to see more of him kicking ass.
And that’s about it. The movie was pretty cheesey. Of course the director is the same guy that did the first two Mummy movies. So Brandon Frasier and the guy that played the mummy were in the movie. Arnold Vosloo did a good job playing Zartan. And He was a pretty interesting character. A real bastard.
All in all the movie isn’t the best. But I will say it was fun to watch. Check it out if you have some time to kill.
