Chris Pine In Talks To Play James T. Kirk

Word leaked out today that Paramount may be looking to cast actor Chris Pine in the role of James T. Kirk.
According to an article in today’s edition of the Hollywood Reporter, Pine is currently being courted by both Paramount for the new Star Trek film, and by Cherry Road Films for White Jazz, a new adaptation of the James Ellroy novel that will star George Clooney. The trade paper mentioned that Pine’s biggest role to date has been the 2006 Lindsay Lohan flop, but noted that if Pine does manage to land a part in both movies, this might just make him “the hottest new actor in town.”
Well anyways I don’t really remember Chris from anything however I hope he does well as the new Kirk. And hopefully he’ll be brushing up on his ass kicking skills. Oh and his skills with the green skin ladies.
