Personally I didn’t find the movie that bad. It was entertaining.
Sure alot of the jokes in the film were pointless, wince inducing and tasteless at times. Ala Farrely Brothers. But some of the jokes were funny.
My Fiance thought that most of the movie was cute. There’s alot of nudity in the movie. You could say there’s some stuff you’d see only on the skinemax.
Alba does a decent job as the uber sexy yet accident prone penguin lover. She’s cute and empathic in her role. She should do a movie with Adam Sandler it would do her career some good.
Dane Cook…. well what can we say about Dane. He has his moments I think. Better than Ben Affleck at least. And if you girls are into Dane’s bod… well you see plenty of it. The plot has him being the jumping off point for marriage if you’re a single lady. Sex with him will land you Mr. Right and marriage with the next guy you meet.
His sardonic humor is fills the screen and has it’s moments.
Fogler… this guy is like a bad Jack Black in this movie. Sometimes he just ruins the movie. His masturbation technique is disturbing. Not sure if I’ll ever see grapefruit in the same way ever again. Check for holes. lol
If you’re not going into the movie expecting anything. ie: keep your expectations low. The movie is somewhat enjoyable and can be tolerated. If your girl has a sense of humor she’ll enjoy it. And you’ll see some skin.
obtw…. stay on during the credits. Dane Cooks sex scene with the penguin is pretty funny.
