Sex & The City: First Impressions

Cats: News| No Comments »

If your significant other wants to go see Sex & The City. Go see it! More than likely you’ll get laid. Let’s continue.

First thing the movie is pretty well written. If you’ve seen any of the show you’ll get more of the same quality programming. All the usual suspects from the show are there and are as funny as ever. The comedy is smart and well done. The lines are great. And of course there’s enough fashion to shake a stick at. Carrie wears some of the wierdest outfits she can find as usual, though I must say she does wear one really great dress in the movie. You’ll see it.

If you do go, the movie theater will probably be full of nothing but women. And if you go with a date, or maybe go to meet a hot girl. Well after seeing Dante in the film. They’ll probably be interested in finding a guy. lol.

Guys go see the film it really is pretty good.

Sex & The City - the line is insane

Holy Cow! I’m at the theater and the line is over 250 feet long! I’ve never seen a line like this in my life! More to come after the movie.

The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian

Cats: Cool Stuff| No Comments »

I’m looking forward to seeing this movie this weekend. I was listening to Y100 this morning and Mr. The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince CaspianMoviephone was saying that the movie was really good. The only negative thing he had to say was that the movie had alot of battle scenes and that it might be a little scarey for kids that were under 6. But there wasn’t any blood or anything like that so it kept it’s PG rating. Hopefully I get to see it tomorrow if I don’t go down to the Keys for some fishing.

Speed Racer: Lots of cheese but not bad

Cats: Review| No Comments »

Well I went and saw Speed Racer friday night. I was a little surprised to see that the theater wasn’t all that packed. However we got good seats so that was a plus.Speed racer races in the cassa cristo rally

Anyways some thoughts about the movie. The movie is definately a kids movie. There is plenty of cheese to go around. If you are going and expecting an Othello expect to be disappointed. The movie IMO starts out a little slow with a bit too much dialogue. However once we get passed all of that and get to the 2nd half of the movie. That’s when all the cool stuff starts to happen.

Iron Man: Rocks da house!

Cats: News| No Comments »

Well Saturday night I decided to go out with my Fiance to go see Iron Man. I didn’t have high hopes for the movie just in case it was all that good. But I am very happy to say that the movie rocked.

I won’t give any spoilers but just give a few impressions.

Robert Downey jr. Wow, he was just awesome as Tony Stark. Funny, crass, witty, cocky. I think he gave a solid performance showing a good range of emotions. The iron man suit itself was pretty awesome. good effects. just amazing.

jeff bridges put in a good performance as obidiah stane. along with Gwyneth Paltrow as peper potts and all the other actors gave a great performance.

if you’re going to see a film definately go see iron man.
